Health and Safety Policy

Mawellis Trading and Projects will strive to ensure the Health and Safety of all Workers, Clients, Staff, Stakeholders and Visitors attending, working in or visiting the company, at all times, by all means.

Mawellis Trading and Projects will implement Health and Safety measures to ensure this policy is successful including but not limited to the following:

 

  • Providing premises and equipment that meet relevant statutory regulations
  • Implementing planned emergency procedures
  • Nominating safety representatives
  • Employing security staff
  • Installing security systems
  • Informing all parties of health and safety measures
  • Monitoring health and safety systems
  • Providing adequate insurance cover
Management System Policy
Mawellis Trading and Projects will establish and maintain a programme of internal Quality Management System reviews to ensure the continued efficient and effective operation of the Quality Management System, and to promote continual improvement.
Administration and Communication Policy

Disabilities, learn to ensure that workplace environments are accessible and how to assess the ability of employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Working with providers of software and on-line training to ensure that all courses available to employees through the Intranet/Internet meet standards of accessibility. Ensuring that mentors work to build self-confidence and encourage individual growth. All employees should be encouraged to participate in mentoring programmes. As well as being mentorees, when they should be paired with more senior employees, individuals with disabilities should also act as mentors, so as to provide useful role models. Actively encourage a system that allows all employees the opportunity to develop new skills. By providing professional career counselling services, in a way that is accessible, for example through sign language, to all employees to assist with assessment of job and work related skills including personal and professional goal setting will implement procedures for Administration and Communication which will take into consideration the needs of Clients, Staff and Stakeholders

Environmental Policy

Mawellis Trading and Projects is committed to satisfying the needs of our customers and consumers in an environmentally-responsible manner, achieving this through regular and continuous improvement of our environmental performance.

As a responsible citizen, Mawellis Trading and Projects will take an active part in protecting the environment, demonstrated through:

  • Working in co-operation with relevant government departments, members of industry, suppliers and customers, promoting high environmental standards in all aspects of our business.
  • Formal information and communication sessions, on a regular basis, with interested and affected parties.
  • Using legislative requirements as a minimum guideline to promote continual improvement towards environmental responsible compliance.
  • Setting of annual objectives and targets, which will be tested and reviewed regularly to ensure improvement, progress, and compliance to legislation, other requirements and this policy
  • Ensuring that measures are taken and implemented, to minimize the impact on the
    environment of our products and services, thereby promoting sustainable development and prevention of pollution.
  • Promoting employee and personal environmental awareness by suitable training.
  • Encouraging our suppliers to develop environmentally-superior processes and products that will improve overall environmental performance.
